Electronic music fest is high-voltage fun

The Hawaii Electronic Music Festival, showcasing underground artists and just a whole lot of fun, continues on the Big Island through tomorrow. The schedule:
8 p.m. today (until 3 a.m. tomorrow) at the Palace Theatre, Hilo. The Gala Ball includes downtempo and electronica in the lobby and a main dance floor in the theater. Tickets are $25 at the door, $20 advance.
10:15 a.m. tomorrow, at the Kalani Oceanside Retreat in Puna. Ecstatic dance in the morning, DJs at the pool party in the afternoon. $15 for a pool pass.
