Advertiser Staff

Two boys, ages 17 and 16, were arrested Wednesday night in Wahiawā after a 15-year-old told police he was attacked by a group of boys as he passed through a public park about 9:15 p.m.

The boy who filed the complaint said he got into an argument with one of the boys and was immediately attacked by the entire group, who were drinking at the park.

He said the 16-year-old boy punched him in the face, while the 17-year-old boy hit him in the back of the head with a beer bottle.

Police were called to the scene and arrested two of the boys on suspicion of assault.

They were released to their parents pending further investigation.
