Hawaii unemployment remains at 7.2%

Hawaii's unemployment rate was 7.2 percent for the second consecutive month, as the number of residents without a job increased slightly to 46,656 in October. A report by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics shows Hawaii's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was a full three percentage points lower than the national average of 10.2 percent.
