The Mililani and Kalani softball teams earned the top seeds for this week's Data House/HHSAA State Championships.

Defending champion Mililani, the O'ahu Interscholastic Association champion, is the top seed in Division I. Interscholastic League of Honolulu champion Mid-Pacific is seeded second, Big Island Interscholastic Federation champion Waiakea is seeded third and Maui Interscholastic League champion Baldwin is fourth. All seeded teams receive a first-round bye.

First-round matches begin Tuesday at Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium. The championship is Friday at 7 p.m.

In Division II, OIA champion Kalani is seeded first. Kaua'i Interscholastic Federation champion Waimea is seeded second, MIL champion Hana is third and BIIF champion Konawaena is fourth. All seeded teams receive a first-round bye.

First-round games begin Tuesday at Patsy T. Mink Central O'ahu Regional Park. The championship is Friday at 5 p.m. at Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium.
