Celebrity fitness trainer Gilad offers a workout for all fitness levels from 2 to 3:15 p.m. Saturday at The Honolulu Club. The event is a fundraiser for HUGS (Help, Understanding, Group Support), a nonprofit offering programs for families caring for a seriously ill child.

A donation of $10 or a new toy that will go directly to HUGS is suggested. Advance registration is required: 543-3910.

PETS WELCOME ALL WEEKEND AT BLAISDELL

"Pets and People – Healthy Together" is the theme of this year's Hawaii Pet Expo, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Blaisdell Center Exhibition Hall. The free event includes an "Ask-A-Vet" booth, a petting zoo (Sunday only), West Oahu Kennel Club's "Parade of Breeds," and the annual Hawaiian Kennel Club's "Puppy Match" (noon Sunday).

Pets are welcome, but dogs must be leashed. Donations of nonperishable food for the Hawaii Foodbank will be accepted at the door. 845-1762.
