Kauai's Koloa Rum Co. names new president

Koloa Rum Co., the Kauaçi-based distiller of rum that also makes Hawaiian Kukui-brand jams, has named Rober “Bob” Gunter as president, succeeding J. Gregory Schredder.

The company said Gunter assumes full responsibility for all KRC operations, including its subsidiary Hawaiian Fruit Specialties, LLC, encompassing Production, Sales & Marketing, Administration and the Company’s Tasting Room & Company Store at Kilohana Plantation.
Gunter was previously the company’s general manager. Schredder, will continue to serve as a member of the board of directors.
