Kuehu's double double helps Idaho reach WAC semis

RENO, Nev. — Shaena-Lyn Kuehu, a Punahou alumna, scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to help the Idaho women's basketball team beat New Mexico State, 75-63, in today's Western Athletic Conference Tournament quarterfinals.

Idaho (11-19) advances to its first-ever WAC semifinal game, where it will play top-seeded Fresno State (26-5).
Natasha Helsham, an 'Aiea grad, played 14 minutes for Idaho and teammate Kanisha Bello, a Waiakea grad, played three minutes. Both players didn't score.
Kuehu's twin is Shawna Kuehu, a member of the Rainbow Wahine basketball team.
