Boulevard closed after report of suspicious package
Police closed a portion of Ala Moana Boulevard for about an hour and a half last night after someone reported a suspicious-looking package on the grounds of the U.S. Homeland Security building at 595 Ala Moana.
The four-block stretch of road was closed from 6:40 p.m. to 8:05 p.m., when investigators gave the all-clear signal.
Police did not immediately provide a description of the package or say what was found inside.
