If we had to sum up spring fashion trends in one word, it would be: color. From high-impact headbands to psychedelic statement shoes, color is everywhere — and it can be used to brighten your wardrobe affordably.

The spring/summer 2010 runways were riots of color, with bold graphic and floral prints, striking primary color panels and color-saturated accessories.

Designers, it seems, are feeling optimistic. After a shopping excursion around Honolulu, we're feeling optimistic too.
