The Oahu Choral Society will honor Aaron Mahi for his contributions to the arts at its annual fund-raiser “Vivace!” on Satruday, Feb. 27, at Waialae Country Club.

Mahi was conductor of the Royal Hawaiian Band for more than 24 years from 1981 to 2005 and conductor of the Honolulu Symphony Pops Orchestra from 1988 to 1995.
“Vivace!” will feature the Honolulu Chamber Choir under the direction of Esther Yoo and the Kawaiolanapukanileo a cappella ensemble.
