Health center will boost its pediatric services with grant

Advertiser Staff

Waikíkí Health Center has received a $24,000 grant from the Public Health Fund of the Chamber of Commerce of Hawai'i to support expansion of the center's pediatric health services.

The grant will enable the center to offer pediatric services at its North Shore satellite clinic in Hale'iwa, which focuses on medically underserved Native Hawaiian children.

Services include well-child checkups, preventive care, treatment of childhood illnesses, immunizations and physical examinations.
