Kamehameha Schools' Kapālama campus today will have kulolo from Kaua'i, fried fish from Moloka'i, Kona coffee and lava tubes from the Big Island and its own famous brownies as part of its 80th Annual Ho'olaule'a.

Themed Hō'ihi Ahu, Hō'ihi Mai (Give Respect, Get Respect), the ho'olaule'a will offer live entertainment throughout the day, with performances by students, the Ka'ala Boys, Kupaoa, Hōkū Zuttermeister, Weldon Kekauoha and Leahi. Activities for children and teens will also be provided, along with shopping opportunities at the country store, garden shop, haku lei booth and silent auction.
The Blood Bank of Hawai'i will be on site for the ho'olaule'a's service project and donors (as well as anyone else) can find replenishment from an array of food booths selling Hawaiian and Korean plates, watercress stew, beverage blasters and all sorts of desserts.
Parking and free shuttle service is available at Kapālama Elementary, the Kamehameha Schools terminal, Damien Memorial School and designated on-campus locations. For more information, visit www.ksbe.edu or just make your way to the Kapālama campus between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
