A two-story house in Makiki was severely damaged by fire this morning.

Fire Capt. Debbie Eleneki said seven companies and about 30 firefighters responded to the two-alarm blaze at 1430 Victoria Street at 5:52 a.m.
The fire was under control at 6:17 and extinguished at 6:51.
Eleneki said two families lived in the structure and that nine people had been displaced. They are being assisted by the Red Cross.
Eleneki said all occupants are accounted for and there are no reports of injuries.
Police closed Victoria and Green streets while firefighters battled the blaze.
Flames were seen coming out of windows in the house and the roof of the carport eventually collapsed.
A cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
