Library program targets aspiring writers

Advertiser Staff

Aspiring writers are invited to attend a one-hour program, set for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Kapolei Library, featuring a panel discussion about first chapters and how important they are to hook your reader.
The panelists will include Leslee Ellenson, an author, active member and past-president of the Aloha Chapter of the Romance Writers of America, and romance authors Michael Little and Lynde Lakes. Following the discussion, the authors will read from their published works.
The panelists will also invite questions about writing, how to get started, publishing, connecting with other writers, and more. Program will be held in the second floor adult fiction area and is recommended for ages 12 and older. For more information, call 693-7050.
