Solidad "Sally" "Soling" L. Apeles, 88, of Aiea, died March 22, 2010. Born in Puukolii, Maui. Retired Kahala Hilton Hotel head banquet waitress. Expedito "Toy" Engbino, 76 of Scappoose, Ore., died March 19, 2010. Born in Makawao, Maui. A former aircraft mechanic for Douglas Aircraft. Survived by companion, Jeannette Perez; children, Earl, Troy, Joyce LaPorte, Duane, Darlene Lagapa, Vernon, Taina Feil, Josette Smith, Calvin, and Nicole Bautista; siblings, Gerarda "Gerri" Janowski, Phillipa "Marie" Bunag, Trinidad "Trini" Williams, Manuela "Nella" Lee, Joseph, and Dominga "Domi" Wagasky; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
