San Francisco fashion consultant and jewelry designer Ann Sandhu and textile designer and wearable artist Keiki Fujita, both from the Bay Area, are returning to Honolulu for two free workshops on updating your fashion look. Workshops are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday and by appointment May 1 at Place, A Design Atelier by Mary Philpotts, 40 S. School St. While the workshops are free, seat reservations are recommended — call 275-3075.

GRAND-OPENING PARTY FOR EDEN IN LOVE

Tanna Dang, owner of The Wedding Caf , will open Eden in Love at Ward Warehouse on Sunday. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., there will be a free, public grand-opening party with prizes, games, goodies and sales.

Dang is best known for her popular bridal boutique. However, the avowed fashionista couldn't resist adding clothing, shoes and accessories to her merchandise mix. Eden in Love will focus on stylish, chic, trendy and affordable women's wear and accessories selected by Dang and her team of buyers during monthly trips to Los Angeles.

CELEBRATE COTTAGE BY THE SEA'S NEW SPOT

Despite the dire economy, Jen Kunishima Sarsuelo just keeps on growing her business. She has just moved Cottage by the Sea to a 2,500-square-foot corner unit in Ward Warehouse. To celebrate, she's having a trunk show of Heather Kraty jewelry today and tomorrow, and she has invited Gabbybella, artistic designer at Anthropologie, for a trunk show May 1 and 2.

SEE NEW MURAKAMI PRINT AT LV STORE

Through May 8, Louis Vuitton's store in the historic Gump's Building, 220 Kalākaua Ave. in Waikīkī, will display Cosmic Blossom, the newest design collaboration by Louis Vuitton and Takashi Murakami. The colorful design will be found on Vuitton leather goods, ready-to-wear and accessories. It's a visual treat for lovers of the brilliant Japanese artist as well as passionate followers of all things Louis Vuitton.

TAPESTRIES STORES HOST TRUNK SHOW

Locally designed and manufactured You & Me Naturally is having a trunk show at the Pearlridge and Ala Moana Tapestries by Hauoli stores. Customers will be able to see the current collection's samples and place special orders at the Pearlridge store from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today through Monday and at the Ala Moana Center store from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through May 2. All prepaid trunk show orders receive a 15 percent discount.
