Banks to help collect food and monetary donations for Hawaii Food Bank

The Hawaii Bankers Association's member institutions will be collecting canned food and monetary donations hrough the end of May for the Hawaii Food Bank.

Participating banks include American Savings Bank, Bank of Hawaii, Bank of the Orient, Central Pacific Bank, Finance Factors, First Hawaiian Bank, Hawaii National Bank, HomeStreet Bank, Pacific Rim Bank and Territorial Savings Bank. It is the third year HBA participated in the drive.

The canned food and monetary donations can be droped off at some 285 bank branches. Last year, the HBA member banks collected a total of 33,000 pounds of food and $35,500 in support of the Hawaii Foodbank.
