Hagadone President Hudelist to step down later this year

Hagadone Printing Co. president Erwin Hudelist will leave the company later this year because of a health issue, the company said today.

Hudelist has led the state's largest printing company since 1998.

"Leaving Hagadone Printing is one of the toughest decisions in my life," Hudelist said.

Since Hudelist joined the company Hagadone was voted Best Workplace by the Printing Industries of America for several consecutive years, the company said in a news release.

The Hawai'i Publisher's Association today presented Hudelist with the Industry Person of the Year 2010 Award.

Hudelist has served on the state's Workforce Development Council. He has also served as president for the Hawai'i Printer's Association and on the board of the Hawai'i Publisher's Association.
