A 28-year-old Waianae man was arrested in connection with an incident Nov. 1 in which his wife, 29, told police he pressed his forearm against her throat following an argument and restricted her breathing.

Police said the man left the home before police arrived. He was located yesterday and arrested on suspicion of felony abuse of a family or household member.
