A man is in critical condition after being struck by a car this morning in Aiea.

Bryan Cheplic of the city's Emergency Services Department said the man, believed to be in his 30s, was hit shortly before 9 this morning on Pali Momi Street, near Kamehameha Highway.

Cheplic said paramedics treated and stabilized the man, then took him to a trauma center. The man was in serious condition but worsened to critical.
