Editor's Note: During the next few issues, we'll provide a sneak preview of what some restaurants around town will be serving on Thanksgiving Day.

Panya
Panya Bakery (711 Queen St., 597-8880) will again offer complete Thanksgiving dinners to go.
Enough for six people, the holiday dinner costs $198, which includes a choice of mochi-rice-stuffed roast turkey or honey-mustard-glazed ham.
Dinner comes complete with mesclun-and-heart-of-Romaine salad, an appetizer platter and choice of pumpkin crunch, or pumpkin, custard or pumpkin-custard pie.
Twist
Chef Ryan Loo will put a spin on the traditional holiday dinner at Twist at Hanohano (Sheraton Waikiki, 2255 Kalakaua Ave., 921-4600).
His four-course menu will include Aloun Farms gingered kabocha pumpkin bisque, Kona cold lobster Waldorf salad, herb-roasted smoked turkey and, for dessert, cinnamon-and-caramel apple pie.
Dinner will cost $85. Added wine pairings will cost either $110 or $130.
The regular menu will be available, with prices starting at $65 for a three-course meal.
The band Hot Club of Hulaville will perform from 7:30 to 10 p.m.
The Kahala
Gourmet turkey dinner packages will be available from The Kahala Hotel & Resort, 5000 Kahala Ave., 739-8760), for pick-up on Thanksgiving Eve (4 to 7 p.m.) and Day (9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.). Pick-up times will be available in half-hour intervals at the hotel's loading dock.
For $150, the "Complete Turkey Dinner" features a 12- to 14-pound bird, onions-celery-bacon-and-chestnut stuffing, autumn vegetables with roasted pumpkin seeds, fall garden salad with lilikoi vinaigrette, mashed potatoes, ciabatta bread, tarty cranberry sauce, herb-scented gravy and pumpkin pie.
At the restaurants, Hoku's Thanksgiving Day brunch buffet will be served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and will cost $70 for adults and $52 for kids 4 to 12 years old.
Downstairs at Plumeria Beach House, chefs will roll out a Thanksgiving Day brunch buffet from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and an all-you-can-eat dinner from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Each is priced at $60 for adults and $45 for keiki.
Beachhouse
Take in the ocean view while having Thanksgiving Day dinner at Beachhouse (Moana Surfrider, a Westin Resort, 2365 Kalakaua Ave., 921-4600).
Reservations will be available between 5:30 and 9 p.m.
Chef Rodney Uyehara will lavish parents and their kids with two separate menus.
For $65, the adult menu will start with a choice of eggplant-and-goat-cheese soufflee, Kahuku-corn-and-clam chowder or plump salmon cakes.
For their main entree, mom and dad can opt for prime rib of beef, traditional roast turkey or pork osso buco.
Dessert is also included.
Priced at $35 for kids 12 years and younger, the keiki menu will start with ham-and-cheese panini, followed by a choice of either prime rib or turkey.
Wailana
For a casual Thanksgiving Day meal out, check out Wailana Coffee House (1860 Ala Moana Blvd., 955-1764).
As they have in previous years, cooks here will prepare such traditional holiday meals as homemade turkey-and-smoked-ham dinner ($12.25), New York steak ($16.25) and seafood Continental ($13.50).
An all-day special will offer eggs Benedict Royal for $9.50.
Wine & Dine
John Conover of Plumpjack & CADE wineries will play host to a winemaker's dinner, Wednesday, starting at 6:30 p.m. at 3660 on the Rise (3660 Waialae Ave., 737-1177).
Tickets are now on sale for Oyster Jam V, Sunday, Nov. 8, from noon to 2:30 p.m. Pre-sale scrip costs $20 with a bonus of $4 more.
Russell Siu will also hold his next cooking class on Nov. 12 at 6 p.m. Cost is $65.
Oyster Fest
Sam Choy's (580 North Nimitz Hwy., 545-7979) "Oyster Festival," starts Wednesday and continues through November 10.
The weeklong festival will feature Pacific oysters from Washington and neighboring British Columbia.
Fresh shucked Pacific oysters will cost only $1 each and served with a choice of horseradish cocktail sauce, mignonette or finadene.
The highly-prized Kumamoto variety and special oyster entrees will also be available.
