Kapaa man airlifted to Oahu hospital

KAPAHI – A 63-year-old Kapa‘a man was airlifted to The Queen’s Medical Center early this morning following a one-car crash in Kapahi.

He is currently in stable condition at Queen’s.

According to a preliminary report, the man was westbound on Olohena Road near mile marker two at around 11:30 last night when he crossed the centerline and crashed into a telephone pole.

He was taken to Wilcox Hospital for treatment, and then was medevaced to Queen’s at around 3 this morning.
