Volunteers needed to clear, restore marsh's bird habitat

Volunteers are needed to clear alien vegetation from Na Pohaku o Hauwahine from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday at the cultural site located on Kapa'a Quarry Road.

Work includes planting endemic plants and restoring wetland bird habitat in Kawai Nui Marsh.

Wear work clothes, shoes, gloves and bring weeding or cutting tools, water and a snack.
