“Christmas in the Country 2009” will get under way at Volcano Art Center Gallery, in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park this weekend.
Artist Dietrich Varez will signing books and copies of his Hawaiiana prints, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Also, David Kawika will be on-site to sign copies of his historical fiction series on the life of Kamehameha the Great.
