Huber Marionettes to visit Shriners Hospital

Advertiser staff

Phillip Huber and his marionettes will make an early Thanksgiving visit to children at Shriners Hospital in Honolulu on Friday.
The Huber Marionettes appear frequently at musical variety shows. At Friday’s performance, Huber will perform for some of the youngest patients at Shriners, many of whom are not able to spend Thanksgiving at home.
The marionetteer is in Honolulu for his performances in “A Merry Christmas With Friends & Nabors” at the Hawaiçi Theatre, Nov. 27-29.
Huber is most widely known for his screen work as the marionette manipulating hands of John Cusack in the Academy Award-nominated film “Being John Malkovich,” and television appearances including “The Tonight Show.”
