Big Island police still seeking woman who went missing May 4

HILO — Hawaii County police are continuing their search for a Kealakekua woman who failed to return home May 4.

Everdina Malasig, 48, was last seen at about 1 p.m., leaving Keahole Airport on foot. She was wearing a black dress and no shoes.
She suffers from a medical condition and may require medication. She is described as 5 feet 1, about 125 pounds, and with brown hair and brown eyes.
Police ask that anyone with information on her whereabouts call Lt. Darren Horio of the Area II Criminal Investigation Section at 326-4646, ext. 266, or the Police Department's nonemergency line at 935-3311.
Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call CrimeStoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All CrimeStoppers information is kept confidential.
