Hawaii surf: 3-5 feet expected on North Shore

Advertiser Staff

Surf on Oahu will be up slightly from yesterday, the National Weather Service said.

Surf of 3 to 5 feet is expected today along the North Shore, forecasters said.

Elsewhere, look for surf of 2 to 4 feet along east-facing shores, 1 to 3 feet along west-facing shores and 1 to 3 feet along south-facing shores.

Outlook through Tuesday, March 24: A long-period, southern-hemisphere swell arriving today is expected to produce a noticeable increase in surf heights along south-facing shores by tomorrow.

Other than small background swells along the remaining shorelines, no significant swells are expected through early next week.
