SSFM INTERNATIONAL

Former chief planner and transportation director for the City and County of Honolulu, Cheryl Soon, who last year joined engineering firm SSFM International, will now lead its expanded planning practice. As planning group director, she will be responsible for all planning projects undertaken by the firm, which will include highways statewide.

MCDONALD'S

McDonald's Restaurants of Hawaii franchisee Susan Smith has added the Temple Valley McDonald's restaurant in Kane'ohe, to her organization. Smith operates two other McDonald's restaurants, in Hale'iwa and La'ie.

SIMPLY ORGANIZED

Simply Organized has promoted Susie Graeb and Lita Thomas to supervisory positions at its new Kapolei store. Both are original employees at the Simply Organized store that opened November 2008.
