How cold was it last night? Wahiawa reports 56, Lihue 55, Lanai 54 ...

It was 59 degrees at Honolulu International airport at 4:30 this morning, 56 degrees at Wheeler Army Airfield in Wahiawa.

Other overnight lows around the state included 54 at the Lanai Airport, 55 at Lihue and Kahului, 57 at the Molokai Airport, 60 in Hilo and 66 in Kona.

Cool northwest winds behind a cold front will last through tonight, the National Weather Service said.

A low far to the north will move to just north of Kauai this weekend, likely producing some unsettled weather, forecasters said.

Here's what to expect as we head into the weekend:

Today: Isolated showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 72. Northwest wind between 10 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tonight: Scattered showers, mainly before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 60. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming south. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Tomorrow: Scattered showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 74. Southwest wind between 13 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Tomorrow night: Scattered showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 64. Southwest wind around 14 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Sunday: Scattered showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 77. Southwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Sunday Night: Scattered showers, mainly before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 66. Southwest wind around 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
