PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia 76ers have signed first-round draft pick, guard Jrue Holiday.

Holiday, 6-foot-3, 180 pounds, was the 17th overall pick in the draft and was an early-entry candidate out of UCLA following his freshman season.
He averaged 8.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.7 assists in his only season with the Bruins. Holiday should expect to see instant playing time with the Sixers unlikely to re-sign starting point guard Andre Miller. Miller is an unrestricted free agent.
