O'AHU
Now you can recycle outdated phone books

Hawaiian Telcom Yellow Pages is partnering with recycler Island Shell LLC to convert outdated directories into oil-absorbent materials, Green Lava Hydro-Mulch or InCide Pest Control Cellulose Insulation.

Members of the public may drop off their old phone books at four recycling drop-off locations through Feb. 8. The locations, open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays through Sundays, are:

  • Ward Warehouse, next to the tented trolley stop on Auahi Street.

  • Kahala Mall, in the Macy's Men's Store parking lot.

  • Windward Mall, in the Macy's-side parking lot.

  • Waikele Premium Outlets, center courtyard area.
