This weekend, the city has begun repaving Kapi'olani Boulevard from Ward Avenue to

South Street.

The work will be done over three consecutive weekends and is scheduled to be completed by Feb. 8. This is the last stretch of Kapi'olani Boulevard that needs repaving. The City repaved this thoroughfare, from Ward Avenue to Kalakaua Avenue, late last year after it completed the water and sewer lines.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area, or use alternate routes because of lane closures.
