High-surf warning downgraded to advisory

A high-surf warning for the Hawaiian Islands has been downgraded to a high-surf advisory and is in effect until 6 p.m. Monday.

The National Weather Service says the advisory is in effect for north- and west-facing shores on Ni'ihau, Kaua'i, O'ahu, Moloka'i and Maui, and west-facing shores on the Big Island.
