Hunt is on for man who robbed S. King St. bank

A man stole an undisclosed amount of money from the McCully Branch of Central Pacific Bank, CrimeStoppers said.

The man entered the bank at 2002 S. King St. at about 12:05 p.m. and demanded money from a teller. He was last seen in the bank parking lot headed toward Young Street.

Police described the robber as in his 30s, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches and 180 pounds. He was wearing a white baseball cap, a black T-shirt, light blue denim shorts and black sandals.

Police ask that anyone with information on this case to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300 or *CRIME on a cell phone.
