Ward Centers, in an effort to increase merchant sales and help nonprofits, is launching a discount program with participating shops and restaurants.

The Kaka'ako retail complex owned by General Growth Properties is seeking nonprofit organizations and school groups to participate in the program in which the groups may sell $5 tickets and keep all proceeds. The tickets give shoppers special discounts or offers from participating merchants at Ward Centers.
