The National Weather Service in Honolulu said surf along north shores of Oahu, Maui and Molokai will be 10 feet to 15 feet through 6 a.m. Tuesday. Surf along the north- and west-facing shores of Niihau and Kauai will be 14 feet to 18 feet through 6 a.m. Tuesday.
The advisory may be extended or upgraded Tuesday morning as a second and larger northwest swell arrives, the weather service said.
