Hawaii surf: 6-9 feet expected on North Shore

Surf along the North Shore of Oahu continues to rise and is expected to reach 6 to 9 feet today, the National Weather Service said..

Surf along east-facing shores will increase to 4 to 7 feet, while surf along west-facing shores will be 1 to 3 feet through today.

Surf along south-facing shores will rise to heights of 2 to 4 feet Tuesday.

Outlook through Sunday, April 26: A further increase in the north swell may come Wednesday afternoon, pushing surf to the 8-foot advisory threshold before subsiding rapidly Thursday and Friday.
