HAWAI'I KAI
Fundraiser to aid brother of Waipi'o Little Leaguer

A fundraiser will be held at the Koko Marina Center branch of Aloha Pacific Federal Credit Union from 10 a.m. to noon tomorrow to help raise money for Paliku Winchester, the 5-year-old who has been an inspiration for the world champion Waipi'o Little League team.

Paliku Winchester, the younger brother of Waipi'o third baseman Pikai Winchester, was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer in February and is undergoing chemotherapy. The family needs help with his medical bills.

Players from the team are expected to be on hand to sign autographs in exchange for donations. There will also be hot dog lunch combinations for sale, as well as keiki games and enter-to-win contests for adults.

All five branches of the credit union are accepting cash and check donations through tomorrow. Checks should be made payable to Paliku Winchester.
