MANA MEANS ADVERTISING AND PUBLIC RELATIONS

Mana Means Advertising and Public Relations has hired Rose Begonia as a public relations associate and Ryan Brant as a graphic designer.

Begonia has previous experience at a law firm and a mortgage company. Brant has a background in professional photography and freelance design.

KHNL-TV NBC8 AND K5

KHNL-TV NBC8 and K5 The Home Team has promoted Barbara Scott to local sales manager. Most recently, she was KHNL/K5's senior account manager.

Named to the position of sales research director is Deryl Seino. Seino will have a hybrid position, a mix of his current role as KHNL/K5's sales and marketing executive and his new role as sales research director.

UH-WEST O'AHU

University of Hawai'i-West O'ahu has hired Ryan Mielke as executive director of public affairs, responsible for public affairs activities related to staff and programs at UH-West O'ahu and serving as primary liaison for the chancellor on all strategic communication issues.

PARSONS CONSTRUCTION GROUP

Dennet Azuma has been named operations manager for the Pacific Division of Parsons Construction Group. He has more than 35 years of experience in the Hawai'i construction industry.

CARLSMITH BALL

Christopher Cole has rejoined Carlsmith Ball as partner in the Ho-nolulu office, specializing in civil litigation, with an emphasis on labor and employment law, real estate litigation, professional liability, environmental litigation and complex commercial litigation.

ATLAS INSURANCE AGENCY

Atlas Insurance Agency Inc. has appointed Michael Kinoshita as senior vice president for its construction services division, responsible for managing the business development, client retention and overall operations of the division.

AUSTRALIAN AMERICAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

Diana Preston-Stanley has been named president of the Australian American Chamber of Commerce (Hawai'i), and will continue to serve as executive director. Previously, Preston-Stanley was director of sales for Australian Capital Tourism in Canberra.

Longtime director and past president, John Gilbert was elected chairman of the board of AACC(H). Before retiring in Hawai'i, Gilbert was chairman and president of John Gilbert Intermediary Group, an international reinsurance brokerage company based in New York City.

REYNOLDS RECYCLING

Reynolds Recycling Inc. recently hired Tai Vuniwai as corporate trainer. Before joining Reynolds, he was corporate trainer with Fral Tech Services in Vernal, Utah.
