Local 5, a union that represents many of Hawai'i's hotel and restaurant workers, will hold a mayoral candidate forum beginning at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 10 at the union headquarters on Queen Street.

All three major mayoral candidates — Mayor Mufi Hannemann, Councilwoman Ann Kobayashi and University of Hawai'i professor Panos Prevedouros have been invited to participate, organizers said.

The forum is a private event for Local 5 leaders and invited guests only, organizers said.
