Aloha from the bright lights of Las Vegas. We are here for the first Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. He's a huge golf fan and it's great to have him be a part of the PGA Tour.

I've played in two tournaments since my break during the end of the Fed Ex Cup playoffs, Turning Stone Resort Championship and the Valero Texas Open. I have fond memories of the Turning Stone Resort, where I had my best finish on the PGA Tour in 2007 (T-5th). This year the event was a few weeks later, and while it was nice to see the colors of fall in upstate New York, I wasn't quite as excited about the brutally cold conditions. My three weeks prior to the event were spent relaxing in Scottsdale, Ariz., and Hawai'i, so the 40 degree temperatures were a little bit of a shock. I didn't have as much success as last year, but it was nice to get back out on Tour and see my game start to sharpen after some time off.

We headed west to San Antonio, where we were welcomed by some great warm weather. I was able to put in some long hours with my coach and sports psychologist, and although the results weren't quite evident, I'm really excited to get going in Vegas this week.

I really enjoy the atmosphere and energy in Las Vegas. It's great that the PGA Tour comes here and it offers some unique opportunities to enjoy your time away from the golf course. The tournament itself and the players are very relaxed, and for at least this week we have lots of things to talk about and do other than just play the tournament.

For example, Timberlake is giving a private concert for players and families on Friday, which we are all looking forward to. On Monday, I met him at the golf course and we chatted for about 10 minutes. He's a very nice, down-to-earth guy, and it's cool to have him around for the week bringing more publicity to the event, and it's wonderful cause.

Mahalo,

Parker
