Award-winning teacher and author Joe Tsujimoto will share the limelight with poet, teacher and fiction writer Mavis Hara today when the pair give a 6:30 p.m. reading of their works at Native Books/Na Mea Hawai'i at Ward Warehouse.

Tsujimoto, who teaches at Punahou, will read from "Morningside Heights: New York Stories" (Bamboo Ridge, 2008), and Hara, a reading teacher at Kapi'olani Community College, will read from her first collection of stories and poems, "An Offering of Rice (Bamboo Ridge, 2007). It's free, with a reception following.
