Advertiser Staff

A man accused of stealing six U.S. priority mail parcels containing 10 Hewlett Packard laptop computers yesterday at Honolulu Airport made his initial appearance at federal court today.

Richard Kealoha was employed as a Unlimited Services Group ground handler when the alleged theft from mail occurred. The cargo was bound for Guam and Saipan.

Magistrate Judge Barry Kurren set Kealoha's detention hearing for Friday and his preliminary hearing for May 29.
