The H-2 Freeway Honolulu-bound on-ramp from Mililani Town on Mehe'ula Parkway will be closed today through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for pavement resurfacing, the state Department of Transportation said.

Honolulu-bound motorists are advised to use alternate routes like Kamehameha Highway or to continue on Mehe'ula Parkway, make a U-turn at the 'Ainamakua Drive intersection, and use the H-2 Freeway Honolulu-bound loop on-ramp from the makai-bound lanes.

The Mehe'ula Parkway sidewalk on the mauka-bound side will also be closed during these hours from just north of the bus stop at 1618 Mehe'ula Parkway near Kuahelani Avenue to the H-2 Freeway.

The pavement resurfacing is part of a $16.2 million project that includes pavement reconstructions at the H-2 Freeway Waipi'o Interchange, Mililani Interchange and Kipapa Stream Bridge.
