Three H-1 lanes closing Sunday for repair work

The three rightmost lanes of the H-1 Freeway Airport Viaduct will be closed in the westbound direction on Sunday from the airport on-ramp to the Kamehameha Highway/Aloha Stadium/Arizona Memorial off-ramp (Exit 15A).

Crews will close the lanes from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. for concrete pavement repair work. The work is part of a $9.1 million project to fill in potholes along a nearly three-mile stretch of the viaduct between Middle and Valkenburgh streets.

All on- and off-ramps will remain open during this time, and single lane closures may also occur on Nimitz Highway below the viaduct during those hours as a safety precaution.
