Two more UH divers qualify for NCAA Championships

University of Hawai'i divers Magnus Frick and Emma Friesen advanced to the NCAA Championships today at the Zone E Qualifier in Oklahoma City, Okla.

They will join teammate Mats Wiktorsson, who qualified yesterday.

Frick finished first in the 1-meter final with 726.00 points. Wiktorsson finished eighth.

Emma Friesen earned her first berth in the championships by finishing third in the 3-meter final with 599.20 points. The top three in each event advance. Sophomore Raquel Bartlow finished 11th in the 3-meter and freshman Stephanie De Lima finished in 16th.

Wiktorsson finished third the 3-meter springboard yesterday to qualify.

The NCAA Championships for the women begin March 20 in Columbus, Ohio. The men's championships begin March 27 at Federal Way, Wash.
