"Party Hulas," a 1965 Genoa Keawe album that introduced the masses to her signature tune, "Alika," is back in stock after a brisk sellout last week following her death.

"This is definitely the one," said Flip McDiarmid of Hula Records-Hawai'i Calls Inc., distributor of the 1965 album, which came out as a CD in 2001. It likely will show up on the local charts again this month. "We reordered and the stock is in," said McDiarmid, whose father, Don McDiarmid Jr., produced the original recording. "Dad had a jewel in this."

"Alika" also is on Keawe's 1979 "Aloha to Aloha Grill" album, an homage to one of her Downtown venues earlier in her career, and on "Hana Hou!, Vol. 1" — along with three other compilations.
