Michael Futi, who was 14 days old when he died after being locked in a room at Honolulu International Airport, will be buried Saturday at Borthwick Mortuary with the help of the Visitor Aloha Society of Hawaii.

Michael had been brought to Honolulu from American Samoa by his mother for heart surgery. He died Feb. 8 after being detained by customs officials, the family's attorney said.

Visitation for Michael is scheduled from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Borthwick, followed by a service at 11:30 a.m.

Burial is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.

The Visitor Aloha Society worked with Borthwick Mortuary in getting the funeral service and burial plot donated to the family.
