The Leeward YMCA will hold two free preview days to introduce the community to dance classes that are starting up.

A preview of the ballroom dancing class will take place at 10:15 a.m. March 13 at the Y.

The hip-hop/jazz previews will be held March 15 — 10:30 a.m. for kids and 11 a.m. for teens and adults.

The Latin ballroom class will also be previewed that day at 11:30 a.m.

The Leeward Y is partnering with Nix Performing Arts Center on the classes.

The classes are open to YMCA members and nonmembers for a fee. Classes will be offered during the week and on Saturdays, and run for an hour once a week for 10 weeks.

Classes run from March 24 to June 1 with "finale performances" June 2-8.
