Candidates' forum on Tuesday open to public

The Eco-Roundtable will hold a Kaua'i County Candidates Forum Tuesday at the War Memorial Convention Hall.

People can mingle with the candidates from 5:30 to 6 p.m. and a facilitated question-and-answer forum will begin at 6, the group said.

The forum will be recorded and rebroadcast on KKCR and Ho'ike Public Television Station until the elections. Candidates' full written responses to questions will be posted at www.ecoroundtable.org after the event.

For more information, contact Andrea Brower at andrea@malamakauai.org or 828-0685.

The Eco-Roundtable is a network of more than 50 sustainability-oriented organizations, whose concerns encompass economic self-sufficiency and diversification, environmental health, social well-being and perpetuation of culture.

The event is free, but donations of nonperishable food items for the Kaua'i Food Bank will be accepted at the door.
